Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the world of supply chain and logistics has struggled to return to some sense of normalcy. OEM’s continue to struggle to keep up with demand as trucks, trailers and other needed equipment are in short supply. Andy Vanzant, COO of Gulf Relay, says that this issue is likely not going to be resolved anytime soon. Manufacturers continue to fill orders faster than they can get them built with most experts predicting the light at the end of the tunnel to be sometime in 2024. Despite the struggle, Gulf Relay continues to work hard with innovative solutions for our drivers. By providing top of the line equipment, we are committed to giving our team the tools they need to get the job done right. When times are tough you can crumble under the pressure or rise to meet the challenge. We won’t let the challenge of the supply chain keep us from working hard on behalf of our employees and the customers they serve.
